Your recordings stay yours

  • Recordings you upload for a job are deleted when the job ends.
  • Transcripts are kept for as long as you choose, then deleted.
  • Nothing you send trains our models unless you agree. If you say no, we never ask again.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Transcribe works in your browser: drop a recording, choose the language, and download the transcript as text, a Word document or subtitles. The API is there when you want to build it into an app.

What do I get for free?

Is there a subscription?

How are characters counted?

Every character of the text counts, spaces and punctuation included. A Ge'ez syllable such as ሰ is one character.
